Big (budget) room with tv...

We thought the accommodation was average for the price paid. The refrigerator did not even a shelf inside it and was not able to accommodate any extras we bought from the overpriced local general store. Garden area outside the property was pathetic and our patio was never cleaned in the time we were there. We realise it is extremely remote and although some folk may like that type of property we feel we are glad that we have seen it but would never return again. Throughout the Northern Territory the use of "cheap" labour is significant and for the prices paid it appears to be a win win situation for the area but not for the travelling public and holiday makers that travel there. It made the uk look like a bargain area.
.The remoteness and the lack of things to do in the area I.E. dinner out and entertaiinment. The entertainment at the local hotel was ok if you were a 2 year old. Food expensive and nothing much to choose from. When we arrived there even though we booked for 3 people there was no extra glass. Towels, tea cups etc. As to wildlife in the area there was nothing! Choosiing this hotel was due to the fact that there was no other choice.

Brand-new room, great-sized on bed linen. Professionalism of the staff. Free parking on site provided. The pool area was lovely too. Location: stunning, short walk to the Kings Canyon and the Mereenie Loop, the Kings Canyon park and hiking trails and Kings Creek. Also, on mobile tower.

The fact that there is a place to stay at this wonderful location
Accomodation was very basic for the price Cot was not supplied at first and then was filthy(vermin) when it eventually arrived. The room discount was much appreciated. The amount of chicken in the Taco I ordered for the evening meal was less than 3 spoonfuls and mostly salad, I was disappointed.

Does not deliver value for money on service or facilities including meals. Which prompted us to cancel second night.

The room smelt of mice and I had several visits from mice during the night

Unfortunately.... nothing
The rats in the first room (120 $ rate) and rats in the second room (120 $ rate) they gave me. Finally I had a third room that was safe and clean (whose price was over 300 $) without paying the difference.

The room was comfortable, with scenic views from the balcony. The outside showed some maintenance needs. A good experience.

Accommodation was extremely basic and we were unable to book a room with ensuite. A shared bathroom means a walk outside to a shower/ toilet block. There were mice in our room at night time.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay and appreciated having a warm breakfast option. Being so close to the canyon was convenient for hiking. The staff was helpful. The scenic views from the balcony were a highlight. It reminded me of road trips in my home country.
The outside of our room had maintenance issues that needed attention. Some areas of the resort felt a bit run-down despite the otherwise pleasant stay.

Mice were really bad, some caught in traps were trying to get out There was rotten food under the fridge attracting mice. A device under the door to stop mice entering would be good Despite having a kitchen next door we didn't discover it until morning as all signs had been removed.
